New Member with XS 2003 GSElite Ski, 2001 ProMax 225... as my very first power boat EVER! Yes I'm never middle of the road with anything. Finally on the pad up to 6500 on 23 P "training prop" took about 8 hours of seat time to get there.
With this speed and perfect water conditions I made trip across Lake Ontario from Toronto to US, had a quick brunch and was back in 3 hours... very different than 8 knot hull speed in 5 knot current! The 66 L of fuel burn was new and the expenditure was novel and worth it.
