Trim gauge is fine when you're pulling into the trailer or beach and want to check that you're trimmed up for clearance without looking back. But for driving, it's not really a reliable point of reference. Need to feel what the boat is needing re: trim. That varies by load, etc.

If you want to go the easy and inexpensive route, these will snap right in without having to mess with mounting a ballast. Not as bright as my HID's, but still a big improvement over stock and use less battery juice. Also, no warm up like HID so better for those that are flipping them on/ off...

Allison sold 13'er molds a long time ago. Somebody un- mothballed them a few years ago and has started selling them. To pass it off as an allison would be dishonest though.
