Tubing/Skiing Props

What is everybody using nowadays for tubing/skiing props? Clarify gearing also please.

I have 1.62 gears. Pull two kids that weigh about 140lbs total.
I ran a Robbie modified 26 Bravo XS this summer and it worked for tubing but I felt that the motor was not liking it. Rpms not quite high enough. Kids like under 25mph on the tube but I liked going closer to 30mph to get the rpms better. Looking at getting a 22 Bravo XS for next summer.

I use a 24" Hydromotive QIV XOT for all around use. 200XS with 1.75 gears. Easily pulls both kids tubing and wakeboarding.

I would look for a cheap used trophy 19-21 pitch. Would rocket out of the hole and should be plenty of those laying around cheap . No need to spend alot of money to make your fast boat go slow.

So your 24 and 1.75 gears should be similar to a 22 for my 1.62 gears.

225 Promax, 1.87 gears, 26 Trophy is fine for slalom skiing. I would want less pitch for tubing

Just picked up a 24 Trophy plus, should be a stump puller for tube duty.
