Just an update since all of this happened. My 200 ProMax completely stock with a sporty and the 27 Hoss seem to work well with a tournament load (the wife and me including a full cooler under front deck) have had a best of 88mph at 6750 and the usual 14" setback and at even with pad BUT just...

Made to the lake today with the 200, ran good! Holeshot very good ran 76 mph at 6200 at about 1/2" below the pad with a 26 trophy. Thinking with a little more time and maybe a bit higher to get her revvin a bit more should get me 82-83? The 225 at 6800 was at 85 gps same prop with two people...

Yep, I think your right time does "march on" and eventually we will have to move to the new hull. But, a new XB2002 with the "Sport" console setup and a new 175di motor with a sporty and solid mounts would be an awesome setup! (affordable,fast,fuel efficient) just thinkin..... :D Pro Stock Bass...

Isn't the GranSport the same hull different cap? Must have a EPA fuel tank?

The story is I broke my SuperMag bad, rod through block at the case halves and crank sealing rings. I just brought home a cherry complete 200 ProMax powerhead with maybe 75 total hours. All I know about the differences in these motors is the 5 & 7 petal reeds and I assume ecu mapping not sure...

A couple better pics. It got it where the sealing ring goes. Any opinions on replacing? Rebuilt from Merc $5500.

Last weekend was rolling down the lake about 70 almost to the dock and the motor just shut down with alarms going off, no bang ,pop or anything. So we were only 500 yards out and trolled on in and loaded up. Felt like no fuel or ignition, was I wrong! Now I can see in my motor. Not sure what...
