Hit the gas from a dead stop rpm went up to 7000 befor it took off is that to much. will i need some prop work?

Went and checked out 280 merc. Runs good and idles better than my 225 promax.wondering about compression 138 on top port side and the rest at 140.?Motor is in wisconsin at 790 above sea level 10 hours of break in time. Is there any cause for concern with that comp???????? 45 degrees at test time.
