Helping a friend, rigging a XR 2001 RR with a new 200XS, the motor comes with a sportmaster and 1.75 gears I assume that is a fat shaft, what do you think for prop recomendation? It will be a middle of the week lake cruiser. Thanks Rick

Will a new 200XS short shaft work with cable pulley race steering? I haven't seen one of these new motors and wondered if they will accept this kind of steering Rick

So my XR2001 RR has a 6-8 set back jack plate, it will start out with a healthy 260 on a factory 15" mid and at some point a drag will set on top of that 15". So which set back do I go with, I have asked a few people and have gotten suggestions for both he 6 and the 8. So heres the question...

SO when we get ready to rig my XR2001 RR for river riding and pleasure, well maybe a little racing do I go with the 6" or 8" setting on the factory jackplate? It will have a 15" with a drag most likely. Just figured I'd start asking now. Thanks Rick
