1bad67, when buffing this trextured part are you able to get down into the texture with the pad? I have waxed it several times and can get the raised part looking good, just can get into the grooves. Stace, I guess the 303 protectant is o.k. for the gelcoat, as opposed to the armour all?

I own a 1998 xb2003, Yellow and Black. The step pads/areas on the bow and stern are black and faded badly. This portion is of course the textured gel coat. Any ideas on how to get the fade out in this area? I can apply Armour All for a temporary shine. I would like to be able to use...

BOB ANT, I have recently purchased an XB2003 with a 225 Supermag with a 260/offshore mid. Mine has not got the trim sending unit. If you don't mind my asking how much did the sending unit set you back? Need to get my trim gauge going. Think it would help in my learning to drive. Thanks.
