I would use composite. Looks like you've already started the project off with composite, so no sense in putting a material back in it that could possibly rot later. Just my opinion.. Used all composite in my GT20 last year.

Thanks the glass guy doing the work seem to think the main stringer needed to made of wood. I'm using 1/2 board for the rest of the boat,will that work or should I use 3/4

My glass guy used 3/4" composite on all my stringers. It originally had 1/2" plywood. I personally would go with the composite 3/4" stringers, but again, that's my opinion.IMG_1633.JPG

That composite job looks awesome. about how much does it weigh and how long is it?? THanks
