Thanks for the ideas, I/O to O/B! My friend with whom I stay while I am in Ottawa mentioned last year that we should ski Tremblant, but we just didn't make it happen this year! Maybe next year! But the info about Chateau Montebello is new.... I'll make sure it gets in the plans for next year!

Thanks, Whip! I had a great time! Can't wait to go back next year! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Ottawa to take a day out and tour the war museum...... the staff have developed a truly incredible display of 300 years of Canadian history in one building, with a basement full of battle tanks and support equipment!
