Like the title says I have a 30p ally cut chopper 2 and would like to maybe trade for a 28 ally cut.....MUST BE FAT SHAFT.....I changed my rev limiter and would like to spin a bit higher.Thanks Aaron

Ya know Todd can make that 30 a 28.5 knob cut for you. I sent him a 30 chopper11 and now shes a 28.5 Knob Cut. You might like that better? They dont have to spool up like the stock one does and they dont lower your rpm as much when they bite. And they bite hard!!
Just a thought. Its around 200 bucks? Youd have to Call him to get a quote. James

Have you run the 30 Chopper II since you had the limiter raised? So far, it is the fastest prop on my XB2003 with 225X at 97.1 mph.

Ya I have it went 94.2 and I need to raise the motor a bit.I just want to have a bit more punch of a 28 we usualy have a couple people with us.Aaron

With a couple people on board and the raised limiter, you may even want to consider a 26 Chopper II.

Ya thats true ive run one before and was amazed how it accelerated.Just thinking for overall cruisin a 28 would be best

Chopper II's are all flo-torq hubs.

His is the same motor as mine 225x, he has the same simon mods flywheel/revlimiter.

Before Eric Simon's raising the limiter and lightened flywheel, the boat ran a best of 95.1 mph. We only ran it on 1 day since the mods because it was winter here etc, and it ran on that day, 97.1 mph. The 30 Chopper II has no cut made on it, however, it was balanced and blueprinted, but it wasn't thinned. I believe the potential is there for it to go a little faster but probably not by much.

Why i was asking is. I have a stock 2000 225pm. Like to try to get it around 98mph. (I got to 93mph with a 30p et. )
