Well, 85 at 6720 on the Vantage View recall was what I got with my new Hydromotive 28. With my 2 to 1 lower the slip is coming up at 5%. Seems like that may be good as it gets. I love the prop, boat drives well with it. Not sure if the 6800 on the 2.5 XS motor label is a soft or hard limit. I set the jackplate at 3/4 below & never moved it up. Trying to be careful with the trim too. Any advice or comments appreciated. RR

If you had a 1:87 gear you would be in the low 90's . I bet it's a quick fun ride !

It is pretty quick but definitely fun! I think my JC's Torquemaster would work better on a rig that could turn some serious RPM's though. RR
