I thought I'd post a couple of photos since I haven't updated for a while. The plumbing, wiring, etc. under the deck is done. Hole in front deck has been repaired. New aluminum panel has been cut for bow switches, plugs. It's going to paint and silk screen for text. Switches will be labeled by silkscreen also.

I have been working lots of overtime since this project started and have all new seats, carpet, trolling motor, depth finders, seat bases (I am adding 2 pedestal bases to the front deck for crappie fishing), plus 16 rod holders, (8 front, 8 rear for trolling/spider rigging)

I have money put away for new motor but I am still undecided on what to put out back. Looking at 225PM, 175 Pro XS, 250 XS Sport, 200 SHO, 175 SHO, etc.

I'm still struggling to decide if the 505 lbs of the new motors will detract or the extra power will enhance the ride and handling of the boat.

Should be buffing/polishing next week getting ready to go back together.

Carpet around $450. Folding seats around $250. Bucket with cover about $500.

Don't remember exacts but these are close.

Decals you can find on web site. Depends on which style you want.

Wet sanded and polished ready for final cleaning and a couple of coats of wax.

I'm really pleased with the color as it has returned.

200XS and new windshield are ready to go on. All I am missing are the remote oil tank, gauges, and control box.

I bought the motor from Bassman33 from his ad in the motors for sale forum. I don't have any pictures yet (still crated) but there are pictures in his ad. Look for "2004 200xs Racing motor" thread.

Motor, control box, new Allison hyd steering and wheel mounted installed, gages going in.

Gonna raise the motor a couple of holes from where it is in the picture - but we're getting close.

The drivers seat was in boat when I bought it. It is mounted to the original adjustable base frame as far as I know.

I have a new style hi-back bucket to take it's place after new carpet goes in.

Minus a couple of small carpet peices, a functioning trim gage and a few other cosmetic touches, we're heading to the lake Friday for a first run. If all goes well a long Memorial weekend on Table Rock Lake (southwest Missouri) should allow for some extended seat time.

I wonder how long it will take to get my balance back after a 20+ year absence???

Lower the tongue wheel as low as it will go. Block up under the jackplate tight.....I used a combo of concrete block and and wood and shims. Raise the tongue wheel as high as it will go. Build 2 towers from concrete block far enough apart that the trailer wheels will pass through. I built a double 2x6 beam to span from block tower to tower. Place that beam just under / behind the bow hook. Lower the tongue wheel and pull out the trailer.

My XTB sat on this setup for 2 months outside covered up. Works well, not expensive if you have the block and best of all........EASY.

Did you order factory replacement gauge / switch panels or did you have Bill make them from the new carbon fiber looking stuff? I bought the material from Bill and made my own from the carbon stuff.View attachment 10854
Where did you get those gauges/mounts and the steering wheel?
