I like the SEC as much as anybody and Florida is a very very good team. None-the-less the championship is a little hollow with Utuh out there. My humble opinion, I think Utuh would beat Florida.

I don't think so Bob. Bama was still on Vacation when the 1st half ended. Plus Bama doesn't have the fire power like Fl. 14 points is all OU got. I don't think Utah would get 10. Playoffs is the only way we can change this. Plus don't forget about the year Auburn went undeafted in the SEC and a 2 lose team played for the National Championship talking about BS.

Bama didn't want to be there, and Utah did...simple as that.

And, the year Auburn got "snubbed" both USC and OU were undefeated going into that championship game...both having pretty much steamrolled all their opponents.

I thought OU lost there last game of the season which was the Big 12 title game (I think), and that made #2 .

Nope...You're thinking of 2003 when they lost their conf champ game to KSU, then lost to LSU in the Sugar Bowl. Last year, LSU was the first year a two loss team has made it into the BCS Championship game. OU was undefeated at 12-0 going into the championship game with USC in 2004. Hit the link:

Thanks for the correction it was in 2003, my point was it is crap to loose you conference title game and still get a chance for a National title game. Great link thanks for showing it to me. We still need a play off system. I`m thinking a 2+2 but at least a 1+1, we will never see it though, to many contracts signed for bowl games, to much money involved. Just like the Rose bowl it will always have a Big ten team playing a pac ten team execpt the years it hosts the national title game. That is just crap along with all the other bowl games that are preset like that. Bring on the play offs and let us see just who is the best in the land.

You right, And look here Utah is also undefeated this year too. This is why a playoff is needed.
