Ugly Windshield

The windshield on the old XTB had turned a pinkish orange over the years so I decided to freshen it up.

Still got to put the screw covers on.

That would be about 10 hours of sanding, cleaning, temperature regulating, and 5 coats of gloss black. Not 100% satisfied but a little better.

Used a scotch bright pad to take the shine off, wiped down with wax/grease remover, and used some quality paint. About 6 coats. I would definitely use a spray gun on yours in a very clean environment. If its in the budget, do the prep work and have the local body shop spray it in the booth for you. Can't imagine it being very expensive if you do the prep and provide the paint.
