Vacuum gauge ?

Anyone run vaccum boost gauge ? What are the for? my new xb02 console came with one don't know much about it any help would be much appreciated

So what's the vacuum pump for?

You unhook the ecu map sensor tube from the motor and hook it to a hand pump in the boat. Allows the driver to pull the vacuum he likes idling in to the lights. So he can manually set it as rich or lean as he wants for the holeshot. It's pretty much a race only setup. It's wired thru a Mercury choke solenoid and a switch under the hotfoot to dump the vacuum at the hit

My drag boat had a gauge in it that said vacum on it but it was used as the water psi gauge. It had a race pack gauge set up in it. They can be used to display any kind off psi.

I have Bret's old racepak's in my bass boat and the vacuum is used for water psi. But like Eric said most would use it for a pump.

I use a vacuum guage to measure how bad my boat sucks... It goes to eleven...
