What is an RL cut?
Lotus, to my understanding an RL cut is a big blade Chopper cut to a drsign that JC came up with. To me, it has a slightly larger blade than an ET cut and has a good bit of tip cut. I’ll try to post a couple pictures of a 26 RL cut that runs nicely on my xb2003 with a 225 Super Mag.

That’s pretty close. I don’t believe the rl has that much blade. That looks more like bc to me IF I’m correct.

I have a 28 just like the 26 in the pics, and it is one to two mphs faster than the other four 28s I have, and it does it at 100 to 200 less rpms. It gps’s 83 at 6100 rpms on a 1.87 gearcase. This is just at cruising. It is a very efficient cut.

The pic is an RL. I have a 28 but runs out more like a 30. It is a very efficient prop, The most efficient I've ever run. I only take mine out for special occasions. I would probably sell it but it would be for the price of a new ET probably. That's how good the prop is.
