XB 2003 swaping a 2.5 Merc for an Optimax or E-tec

Setting up an XB 2003 with a low emissions 2 stroke...

I have posted threads over at screamandfly forums and received some pretty radical responses to my posts. I hope to find equally helpful advise on what options there are as well as experiences people have had or are having on setting up an XB 2003 with a low emissions 2 stroke. I have pretty much come to the realization that 4 strokes are not yet the way to go.

You'll be OK if you use common sense. Keep total engine weight at 250/300XS or less. Shorten setback to 5.5" or less. This has been done, successfully, more than once.
