I have had my 98' Allison XB2003 for about a year and have been struggling with the instruments since I got it. The previous owner did a # on the wiring. All that said. I have purchased all new instruments and I'm getting ready to install them.
One big problem I have is with the Zercom Flasher. It seems to have a mind of it's own. The light flashes constantly, sometimes gives false readings and I can't seem to get it to work properly. Are these just bad units? Anyone have any experience with these sonars that has a suggestion?

I've never had any problems with mine, but I rarely use it. I will tell you this...if you have another depth finder in use and have the transducer also mounted in the 'ducer box behind the seat, it will pick up interference and give all kinds of false readings. These units seem very susceptible to interference from what I've seen.
