So, I was able to get 84 MPH (speedo) with the stock 200 promax / SS with 27 trophy. This, after reviewing various adice on controlling the chine walk. Thanks for the help, guys. Not sure there is much more in it....
I am concerned with the low water pick up, and water pressure in general. Particularly in view of the fact that it looks like we will be dealing with low lake levels this year. Don't want to lunch my perfect promax. I have purchased the appropriate temperature gauge and sender. Now I am confused about whether to wire into the exisitng "tan wire" going to the console (which I presume is internal water temp), or installing the new sender externally on the head.
Also, still looking for advice on the trim indicator on this short shaft.... I want to make that top speed run more repeatable....
