This is a bad thing to say, but I really don't have much info to pass along about the condition. I haven't had the boat in the water for 18 months as I don't have much time to fish anymore. Retirement is coming soon though and my plans are to refurbish the boat then. I only have used it 4 or 5 times in the 2.5 years I have owned it, just enough to prove it works. It was winterized before I put it in mothballs. I purchased it from a reseller, so I didn't get to speak with the "user". It does have an hour meter. I'll have to look, as I can't remember what it says. To make sure you and I are both satisfied with the swap, I recommended to meet in the middle with fully rigged boats and run them until each of us are comfortable, then derig and switch. Just like you, I wouldn't want to get stuck or stick someone with a bad motor.
