We basically had a couple hours to work on setup. With a very conservative setup, the boat runs 95+mph. With right setup, it would've run 100. Marks wanting to get away from carbs and go with fuel injection. I know he could've done that to this motor but found a killer deal on a immaculate 260 he couldn't pass up.

The owner of this engine and hull is no longer with us. He was taken from us in an accident. He is missed.

How good is it on gas.
Mark is indeed missed, additionally he sold the motor to Redbird on FB.

I do know someone who has a 240 Mod V-P that his souped up and requires a high oct. fuel mix with internal compressions around 180 lbs. or better, if you were looking to drag it would be a good motor, but for fishing, it would simply cost you to much to run on a daily bases. I think he was asking 3500.00 for it, if you are interested let me know and I will pass on the info.
