225 250 XS Vs PRO XS

Can anyone tell me the physical differences between a 250XS made by the race dept and the consumer 225 and 250 Pro XS. I am talking about the external differences that would identify them besides the decals and the serial number.

225 Pro xs does not hav solid mounts and it has a black painted Torquemaster gearcase.

A 250 Proxs has a black painted Torquemaster gearcase .

A250 XS either has a sliver painted torquemaster gearcase or a Sportmaster gearcase and all of the XS motors is ran at factory on a dyno before they leave the Pro xs engines is not ran on a dyno .

It looks to me the Bottom line is, that a Pro XS is the same as a Sport XS if they both have the Sportmaster gear case

Yea, I dont think there is much to Mercury racing department these days. I think it disappeared with the nic 2.5's.
