225 Promax waterpump peehole

Question for you motorheads, My 225PM has only one hose going to the portside pee hole on alien cowling. Replaced water pump impeller/housing and gaskets, water flow is weak to say the least at idle, water pressure is good on plane. I see people run two pee hoses on the other motors. I ran two on a 2.4 Bridgeport but gutted the thermostat guts and just ran the shell but this is a fuel injected motor. Any suggestion? Temp gauge also shows fine

As long as you are running a stock motor, run a stock cooling system.

+1. My 225 promax has almost nothing coming out of the single pee hole oil at idle until the motor warms up.

I think it won't pee until the thermostats open.
