260 water temp????

I have only run my boat 4 times ... The first 2 the water temp stayed around 140 to 150 when running around 5000 rpms and would cool back down to 100 to 110 when back at idle,,,,,, I put a new water pump in it and now when ya run 5 to 6 k it doesnt get above 100 ,,,All i did is put a new water pump in it why is it not getting warm???? pressure is about 2 matbe on the hose and around 10 when running around 5 k . Is this ok or do i need to look for a reason why its not getting any warmer than 100 ????? I would tell ya what it is at WOT but lol I can drive the damn thing above 70 yet..

Did you get the warmer temps in the summer or winter. Water temp makes a huge difference.

I think it's ok now. 260's don't run much temp or pressure. Sounds like it had a bad impeller....

yeah ditto that , not much above 100 has been the norm for me
