Alright I've been bitten by the tarpon fishing bug. Problem is that I love Allison's also. So my thinking is to take a rough XB2002 and turn it into a flats boat. basically redo the whole top. Remove the current front area and raise it flush, move the end of the front floor and make a wall, remove the rod lockers and have the side gunnels to mount the fly rods. Build a center console and mount it further back, move the current rear wall forward and have cushions for seats. Raise the rear floor area flush and install a poling platform. Put a new Merc 115 pro on it and go fishing.
