So, I've almost got my xr2001 ready to go(I say almost, more like I've got I think all the parts I need and gonna be hitting it hard on rigging this weekend)

I haven't driven an Allison in a number of years and I've noticed I've accumulated some really bad habits driving my Bullet(to me I can fall asleep with it wide open compared to my old ally).

Anyway , how long did it take to get back to the swing of things ally wise if you spent a lot of time out of the seat?

I'm thinking a solid day of river cruising to get the bugs worked out and feel comfortable with it before I ever hang it out and then step it up mph wise.

Prolly won't bring it over 95 for a while, I'm generally very careful getting to know a new boat and step it up slow but I'm nervous for some reason.

No idea why??

Exactly what I was going to say, like riding a bike. Just pay attention as the XR is more responsive than most.
