Bluewater LED question

Got my LED kit in the mail, fittin' to install it soon. If I"m out fishing at night, am I required by law to have my white light up in the back? I feel like that would be counterproductive to the red deck lights I got? Is the white light only required when motoring and anchoring? Just curious. Thanks all! I'll post pics of the lights when I'm done.

Yep, and they TWRA does like to write tickets for no stern light.

I figured as much, and I didn't think about it until I got my kit in the mail and started installing it. I got red lights for the deck to allow me to see but have a soft light that wouldn't affect my eyes when driving. I just hope that white pole light doesn't wash out the nice low key glow of the red. Anyone with Bluewaters run into this problem? And ha ha Brian... sorry I missed your call btw, I was out installing the lights on the boat.
