What is included with a "drop on"?

I see the term used all the time so what is a "drop on" and what is involved in it's installation?

I'm considering replacing my "Formula one" pre 300 drag with one.

A "drop on" is a fully-rigged powerhead, with all electronics, injectors, fuel rail, everything you need to unbolt a dead powerhead and "drop on" a new one. All you have to do is unbolt the old one, use a lift or hoist to raise the old one using a flywheel lifting ring (screws into top of flywheel) then transfer the bolt studs onto the new head if need be, change the gaskets where the powerhead meets the exhaust plate, lower on the new powerhead carefully, secure all nuts, hook up fuel line, electrical harness, route water hoses, attach shifting and throttle linkages, good to go. Also have to line up lower unit driveshaft splines where they mate to the crankshaft as you lower it. i usually take the lower unit off when doing the job.
