Flywheel?

Does anyone have the weight of a stock promax flywheel, and the weight of a 16amp wheel?? Whats needed to change over to a 16amp flywheel??

ive got a 40 amp i can weigh but my 16 is not the aluminum one its a metal 16 and still on motor

diffrent stator and get rid of the big voltage regulators im sure i missed something

You need to change the flywheel, stator, rectifier, you'll need some stator bolts, I have the parts loose if you want them weighed, but its like less than half the weight of the 40 amp, if you don't need the 40amp, take it off, your crankshaft will love you for it.

I have everything if you need it

The late 2.4 40 flywheels(red in color) are 4lbs lighter than the black 40 amp, if you want to save some money, but as Mr. Gohr said going to the 16 amp will have your crank giving you a standing ovation.

Wow, 4lbs lighter. I've heard they were lighter just didn't know it was that much. Why don't more people run them?
