I believe those are technically 2014 blocks, Dave. I've always heard that anything stamped from the 9th month on is next year's block.

Its funny. One is 9-13-12 and one is 9-12-13. Both were delivered from Mother Merc at same time. Jus wonder if somebody transposed date and year? Anyway they both have 5 hours.

Yea I should have been more specific dave that was for the offshore program 2years ago the complete motors now they only have drop on's and I think there are only 10 or so left

I called Jaco's today. They will take orders for the 200XS in late Sept, 30% deposit required, delivery in the spring.
Estimate is 16-17, which isn't bad if the alternative is a 175XS plus a sporty plus solid mounts, and still less power and fewer rpm. Or you could compare to a 300XS for around the same money with a warranty. Of course the big block would not work on my SS

I was at the race plant today and was hugging a 200sst motor they are doing another build batch early winter 30% down and around $16,500-18,000 for the ros motor call your local high pref dealer soon
