Just joined Forum. Younger & Stupid; had a Nordic Tunnell P/F Drag , Progressed to a Ranger B/M Classic and a Maxum Run About. Always thought about an Ally. Pulled the trigger and found a 1994 XB 2003 Pro Tournament, which was in an Old Barn in Michigan. It was in what could be called; Well Used. About a 100 hours of restoration, the Ole Girl looks presentable. Seat time was an experience, even in stock engine mode. Now: thinking about re-power. Want like engine weight 150/175 hp. have power lift, but needs l/p (since I'm only at 3" below pad). Power steering? maybe. Want to stay in mentioned H/P. The Fast Strike runs great, but a real Smoker and a real Gas Oinker (who doesn't remember The Little Screamers). Is anyone running the new Merc Pro XS 4 Stroke with l/p or the XS 2 Stroker, Low Water Pickup available on the 2 stroker? Anyway, Hello to all.
