Glad to be a part of you all's forum. I've been reading here for a while now. I'm about to be in the market for an xb 2003 here in the next month or so.

I have owned my XB 2003t since 1999. The boat still looks brand new, runs great and no stress cracks. I get asked a bunch of questions at the ramp about age and speed of the Allison. People are surprised it is a 1996 and think it is a few years old. My old 24 year old Allison will run faster than some of the newer boats with 250/300 HP on the back end. I have owned several other boats from major manufactures and they have not held up as well as my Allison. The Allison does not fish as well as some of the regular bass boats, but you get used to it. The ride, rough water handling, turning, speed, wind protection, and comfort makes it hard for me to buy anything other than another Allison.

I have spoken to Bill at Allison and like he said, "If you do get a stress crack in one of my Allisons, it cosmetic and not structural."
