Got a repair quote for drive shaft replacement, gear set , reverse gear , seals. $4,000 does this seem out of line ??
Seems god awful expensive to me
Price for the parts are the killer .
Just need to know if this is out of line , any help would be appriciated.

I saw that CB Marine had a new, unused 15-inch Sporty for sale for $4750. This would make me believe that if you shopped around you could find a better deal on a used 20-inch unit.
