Got a buddy that bought a used Stratos. The previous owner put a cone/LWP on the lower unit. The boat runs like crap (low 50 mph boat), so I'm sure that long gearcase is dragging him down. He wants to trade for a standard stock 2.5 gearcase. I'm not sure of the exact age of the motor, but I believe it is a mid-90s (I'll find out for sure tomorrow and get some pics). His gearcase is used but in good condition, but we have no idea who put the cone on.
