Minutes before I had been in the mid 90's. Running about 75 felt the boat bump like I ran over something. Turned around and retraced the track and found nothing. Stopped and trimmed the engine out, didn't see anything wrong. As I go to get back on plane the prop cavitated . Slowly went to the ramp and put it on the trailer. Found this.

Yuck...... Big fish, lochness monster, etc..? I wonder what it was as I've always thought of y'all's lakes as clear of debris.. Maybe the skeg came off from fatigue and kissed the blade.. Anyway, its moot at this point and that's a bummer

Sports Master with Allison mods done to it. Fatal flaw was welded on material for the torque tab. That and shitty packing job by the peeps that cut the input shaft then shipped it to me. Oh well live and learn, luckily no physical injury just monetary.
