Im told that yes there is recourse with Paypal . I may be over reacting , Im going to give him another day to reply.

Paypal will cover you 100%. Just went through the same thing. It takes a bit of time and effort but they will cover it.

Hard to believe someone would do that but good honest people are few and far between nowadays. I think this board has a great bunch of people, you get that with a smaller group. Good luck I hope you get your item. Kurt

Hopefully he is just working some OT or something and can't get to a computer. With it just being yesterday I wouldn't freak yet. He seemed to have all the right answers and seemed straight forward in the post.

Just make sure you know Paypals time limits. I lost $30 because I was being too patient with a guy and a reel that I had to return on ebay because of not matching description. Ended up losing the money but at least it wasn't $1265.
