Hi, I just joined the forum. I currently don't own an Allison but I have rode/driven an SS2000. I have looked at a few to buy but I am still accessing the field.
I currently have 3 project boats: 1) a 12' MFG tetrahedral skiff, 2) a 1972 Checkmate MX-15, and 3) a 1977 Glastron Carlson CVX-16 with a '77 Mercury 115 in-line 6.

Has anyone ran the newer Allison Prosport Utility 21 with a Merc 175 ProXS four stroke V6? They recommend a 225 hp (V8 Merc) but I think the lighter V6 should push her 80 mph.

The demo boat Allison had for awhile was a prosport. It ran 80-82 if i remember with a 175 optimax that was a 2.5. It didn't have a trolling motor on it. I run a 3.0 225 and run uper 80's regular. With a perfect day I made a 90.9 then 91 passes

I live in Biloxi. I have a XB21 Prosport SUB with a 300r on it. I use to have a 2.5 280 on it prior. Since your close, your welcome to check it out.
