What does the horsepower curve for the early model ( 95-97) Promax look like ?

When does the power roll off --- 7400, 7500 or 7800 RPM ????

Where should the rev limiter be reset for best performance ???

Jimbo have seen them on a dyno and they fall and fall hard after 7200.That is of course with stock port timing.6800-7100 is the wheelhouse,I always ran mine at 6900 which produced the best numbers.

tbuck- what about a '99? when does it fall off? mine falls off at about trolling motor speed right now. lol!! jim

Should be the same. I proped my 99 promax to spin 7100-7200 with fishing load and 6850-6900 with topend prop.
