Prop Question

Hello all Ally guys...First post.
Have 90 XB02 Comp\1981 225 Merc...Would like to try some 4 blade for cruising and a little top speed.Motor is mildly ported.Trophy Plus 26 or27...Please give me some input gurus.Engine height?

Start out with the motor 1/4 below to even with the pad only if you have low water pickups on your lower unit. For props I would run the 27 throphy I just ran one on my SS and it is one of the best props I have had on it. My friend runs it on his XB2002 and loves it 0 to 80 is very quick and it keeps pulling after that. Hope I could help Thanks Tom

OMC SRX's are good at keeping your rpm down while cruising and the occasional top end pull. They're three blades though. Fairly inexpensive.
