I have not run this prop on an Allison, but four years ago I owned a 20 foot Checkmate enchanter and I ran a 25 pitch Ballistic on it that performed better than a Merc Tempest I had at the time. The prop carried the bow very well and gave me good top speed with OK accelleration.
If you can find a prop to borrow, it is worth your time to try it before you buy.
I have only run a trophy thru hub on my Alli. Personally, I don't see the need for anything but over hub wheels on out hulls except for maybe a ski only prop. Now granted, I have not run one of the Hydromotive wheels, and I have heard good things about them, as well as the trophies from other owners.
