I believe the max hp is 175 for that style 18' Ranger.
Clean it is! You should have seen his 1988 16.5' Javelin he sold a few years ago to step up to this 18'. The grandkids would almost give him shivers when they ate powdered donuts or spilled worm dirt or let a cricket get loose

Nice ranger for someone wanting a family boat and having room to fish on the front deck without losing a lot of space to a full windshield such as a traditional fish and ski. More importantly it has two rod lockers up front under the pads which doesn't exist in most fish & skis. We have put a ton of fish in this boat so it isn't scared to fish:very happy
