What are you using to house the control cables/harness etc between the boat and the engine. I finishing my 2003 w/ a 2000 ProMax 225. Mercury offers a kit to adapt their 2 inch rigging house to the Alien cowls, but the 2 inch hose is way bigger than I need. Especially with half the cables entering on one side of the cowl and half entering the other. Just thought I would see what slick ideas you guys have come up with. Thanks

While the snakeskin is certainly a good solution, I'm looking for something that is solid to offer more protection and a cleaner look. I'm going to look some Shop Vac house ~1.5"; not sure of its resistance to UVs.

I got some shop vac hose (1 1/4") that fits real snuggly into the factory boot of the 225 Promax bottom pan. If I can get the plug for the wiring harness thru it, I'll be good to go.
