For instance; ALTX2B90D989
ALTX2 = XB-2002
B = 100 to 199 / B90 = 190th XB-2002
D = April / D is 4th letter of alphabet=April is 4th month.
9 = built in 1989
89 = 1989 model year boat.

The number above is from the 190th XB-2002 ever built in April of 1989 as a 1989 model year.

Close; the 8 behind the G is the model year of boat, not the day of the month.
ie; if a vin was ALT02B13J889 = it would be the 113th XB-2002 built in October of 1988 as a 1989 model year boat.

I know they do not use that resin anymore so that's not on the new boats and I'm not sure about the other sticker....
