I bought a 55 gallon drum of Klotz Kl 333 20 yrs ago and have been using it all this time. Will it go bad or break down?

My guess is no, as long as there is no contamination or breakdown of the container.

I just got off the phone with Klotz. They told me that as long as the oil has not gotten contaminated it is as good as new!

I had read that 2 stroke oil had a safe shelf life of about 3yrs do to additives settling out. I have some yamalube thats 2-3yrs old and have noticed a few gal. jugs had a bit of clumpy oil in the bottom.

I had a small barrel of Amzoil that I bought a few years ago, over time I noticed that it was clumping on the bottom. Before I would use your Klotz I would at least do some serious mixing.
