Structure scan and sonar transducer mounting.

Okay...... So I'm wondering how you guys are mounting the ducers and if your using both or just the structure scan transducer.

I'm thinking of mounting the sonar in the boat and the 3D structure under the planer that way I have sonar on plane.

Is this what the majority are doing?

I actually mounted my transducer in the area where the old Medallion speedo pickup was and mounted the structure scan transducer on the Jack plate on my 2002.

That's what I did and I'm happy with it. Allison sells a mounting kit for the LSS2 that bolts to the skid planer. They might have one for humminbird too
