With a cone and lwp by a reputable gearcase guy, I'd say it would almost definitely run better than a stock sporty. But get the sportmaster worked too and who knows......

Probably better than the stock SM I have now. When the TM went bad I got a great deal on a new SM, but I would have stayed with a coned TM if I had found one at the right price. my 2 cents
