Triton - 14.5 or 14?

I own a 14.5 X 28 Triton that I have yet to run with a working speedometer. I see that Hoss offers the Triton in two diameters, 14 And 14.5. Is the smaller size better for some boats

If it's a v6 your plan on running it on than you will want the 14.5" diameter.
