Trolling motor battery

Does anyone know what group size the trolling motor batteries are in an xtb21? I've got to replace mine again only after about 2 1/2 years of use. I've been buying the exide deep cycle batteries from academy sports but I think I'm gonna try something else.

Every Allison I've had, came with Group 27's but the trays would also hold Group 29's.

Are the group 29's just taller? Do you get much more life out of them?
