I think the problem is with the 27s, never seen a 26 throw one yet, theres a big differance in the lenth of the ears on a 26 to 27, the ears are 3/4 of an inch longer on my 27 then on my 26 , sat will be the first day with the 27, im hoping to hit low 90s but may have to try 28 pitch, im hitting the rev limiter now with a 26 at 6800 and 86mph, id love to try a chopper but there $1500 instead of $675 for the trophys.maybe someday!

Russ... are you talking about paying $1500 for a Chopper II instead of $675 for a trophy?

Either price is WAY out of hand… LOL

Okay, I resisted long enough…Trophy props are for guys who want to run slow with their prop below the pad. Not just my opinion, but a fact.

If you think a Trophy runs good on your rig then you have never dialed it in with a high performance over the hub exhaust prop such as a Chopper II or Lightning ET.

Prop Prices

I think VCRASH must be from Canada and be talking Canadian Dollars. You can buy that stuf for less than that up here. Your dealer must be trying to suck every dollar out of your wallet that he can.

Wow that is an outrageous price for a trophy/anchor/doorstop/paperweight. I sold a like-new 27" trophy for $300---it had only been ran maybe a dozen times. Some guys love 'em but they ones I tried handled like crap on my boat.

Sorry Guys, That is in canadian dollars, but thats still $540 for the trophy and 1200 for the lightening, Does that sound right? thats the price around here anyway. tried the 27 this weekend, much easier to drive the boat but not much faster, would love to try a three blade as badbait implies that they are much faster
