Anybody worked on the livewell system in the XB21s? As great as the design of the boat is, the placement of the livewell pumps, valves, hoses, etc could definately be improved. I just spent several hours changing the livewell valve and fixing a leak from a fitting in the bottom that was never sealed at the factory. I have several busted knuckles, a sore back, and I will be wearing 5200 for several days. I also used up a weeks worth of four letter words. At least I didn't have to take the fuel tank out.
So if you have a livewell problem, I would advise hiring a midget.

My first 21 had sat outside on C&O's lot over the course of the winter. Some water had gotten into the livewell apparently and the cold weather froze it and split the pumps and valves. First time I put the boat in the water, it took on quite a bit of water in just a short period of time. Replacing all of those was a frustrating job on a new boat...........Allison covered the cost of the parts, but installing them was a PITA.
